Apple Kuchen - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 c. unsifted flour, divided
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
4 Tbsp. softened margarine, divided
1/2 c. very hot tap water
1 egg (room temperature)
1 1/2 c. drained cooked apple slices
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
confectioners sugar frosting*

Preparation

*Confectioners sugar and water or milk combined to drizzle consistency.
