Golden Pound Cake For Two - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2/3 c. milk
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. shortening
    3 eggs
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Set aside.
    Cream shortening and sugar. Add extracts and juice.
    Mix, then add milk combining thoroughly. Mix in dry ingredients.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Pour into a well-greased 9 1/2 x 5-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool.
