Sausage Lentil Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. lentils, rinsed and soaked
    1 lb. Polish kielbasa, sliced
    2 onions, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
    15 oz. can tomato sauce
    2 qt. water
Preparation
    Combine ingredients in a 6-quart kettle.
    Simmer, covered, for 1 hour, then uncovered for 30 minutes to thicken.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
