1 cup butter
6 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups blackberry jam
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time and beating well after each additon.
Dissolve soda in sour cream.
Add jam.
Stir into butter mixture.
Add spices and salt to mix, beating well. Fold in flour.
Bake in 5 or 6 9 inch cake pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
