Unbaked Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. seeded raisins
2 lb. dates
1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. crystallized pineapple
1/4 lb. citron
1/4 lb. candied orange peel
1 lb. figs
1/4 lb. candied lemon peel
1/2 c. grape juice
2 lb. pecans, shelled
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
1 orange (juice and rind)
1 c. sugar
1 c. grape jelly
Preparation

Chop fruits and nuts and mix with orange and grape juice. Line a crock or casserole with brown paper and insert two strips of cloth in crock to facilitate removing and pack very closely. This should stand in a cool place about ten days before cutting.
