Fettucine With Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. medium size shrimp*
    3 small zucchini (about 3/4 lb.)
    3 qt. water with salt to taste
    3/4 lb. fettucine
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. finely chopped or crushed garlic
    2 c. cubed ripe plum tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. hot red pepper flakes
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped fresh basil leaves or 2 to 3 Tbsp. dried basil
    1/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Peel and devein shrimp.
    Slice zucchini about 1/8-inch thick. Cook pasta according to directions and drain, reserving 1/4 cup of cooking liquid.
