Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. thick unsweetened applesauce
1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg

Preparation

Mix together in the order given.
Bake in a floured pan slowly in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
