Aunt Lucille'S Red Hot Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box cherry Jell-O
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. red hots
    1/4 c. applesauce
    1 small pkg. cream cheese
    nuts (as desired)
Preparation
    Dissolve red hots in 1 cup hot water.
    Add Jell-O.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add 1 cup cold water and applesauce.
    Chill until almost set.
    Stir in cream cheese and add nuts.
