Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats.
    Let stand 20 minutes.
    Mix shortening, brown sugar and white sugar; then add eggs.
    Add oatmeal mixture.
    Add flour, cinnamon, soda and salt.
    Stir well and pour into greased cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
