Banana Split Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. hot fudge sauce
    1 (9-inch) chocolate cookie pie crust
    1 1/2 bananas, peeled and sliced
    1 pt. vanilla ice cream or strawberry ice cream, softened
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    2 c. sliced strawberries (optional)
    1 c. whipping cream with 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar, whipped to peaks
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Spread hot fudge sauce over bottom of crust.
    Arrange bananas over.
    Spoon ice cream over.
    Cover and freeze 4 hours.
    Can be prepared one day ahead.
    Spoon pineapple over ice cream, then arrange strawberries over.
    Top with whipped cream.
    Sprinkle with walnuts.
    Serve immediately.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
