Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 c. cucumbers, sliced
3 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. whole cloves

Preparation

Salt the cucumbers well, let stand 1 hour and drain.
Mix remaining ingredients, bring to boil.
Add cucumbers and bring to a boil.
Pack in jars.
