Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine all dry ingredients; mix well with wet ingredients. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
