Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. hamburger
2 onions, chopped
2 c. cornmeal
1 can cream-style corn
1 can whole kernel corn
2 c. milk
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. bacon fat
1 c. grated sharp cheese
3 hot jalapeno peppers
Preparation

Brown beef, onions and peppers.
Combine meal, corn, milk, eggs, baking soda and baking fat in a large bowl.
Pour half of batter in greased skillet or baking pan.
Spoon meat mixture evenly over batter.
Sprinkle with half of the cheese.
Top with remaining batter.
Sprinkle with rest of cheese.
Bake in oven 40 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cool and cut into squares.
