German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sliced cooked potatoes
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. water
    6 slices fried bacon, diced
    salt, pepper and onion to taste
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in jackets.
    When cool, peel, slice and set aside.
    Mix sugar and cornstarch.
    Stir in vinegar and water. Cook until clear.
    Add bacon, salt, pepper and a little onion to taste.
    Pour over potatoes (more bacon drippings can be added for more taste).
    Recipe can be tripled and placed in a crock-pot for a \"crowd pleaser\" or heated in oven until warm.
