Ingredients

1 can sliced beets, drained
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch.
Add vinegar.
Let sauce boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add butter.
Pour sauce over beets. Let simmer 30 minutes.
