Vichyssoise Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
6 medium leeks (white only), washed and sliced (approximately 2 c.)
3 medium potatoes, quartered
6 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
2 c. half and half
chopped chives
Preparation

In a 3 to 4-quart pot, warm butter over medium-low heat and saute leeks until wilted, approximately 5 minutes.
