Hawaiian Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. liquid from canned pineapple chunks
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    3 c. cooked sliced chicken
    1/4 c. thinly sliced onion
    1 c. drained pineapple chunks
    1/2 c. very thinly sliced celery strips
    2 Tbsp. diced pimento (optional)
    2 c. cooked rice
    chow mein noodles
Preparation
    Combine
    the first 3 ingredients; stir\tinto
    pineapple liquid in pot over medium heat.
    Add vinegar
    and\tsoy
    sauce. Bring
    to boil, reduce heat and cook\tuntil
    thick,
    stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
    Add chicken and\tthe
    rest
    of the ingredients. Cook for 5 minutes.
    Serve on a
    bed of rice garnished with the noodles.
    Makes 8 servings.
