Out-Of-This-World Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 can cherry pie filling
3/4 c. sugar
1 large can crushed pineapple, don't drain
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. red food coloring
1 (3 oz.) box cherry jello
4 bananas, sliced
1 c. pecans, chopped (optional)

Preparation

In a saucepan combine the pie filling with sugar and pineapple. Cook until thick and remove from heat.
Add jello.
Allow to cool and add sliced bananas and pecans.
Pour into 2 baked pie shells and top with whipped cream.
Makes 2 pies.
