Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. mild sausage or bacon
    1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent rolls
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
    4 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook sausage until brown and crumbly; drain well.
    Line bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking dish with crescent rolls.
    Press seams together.
    Sprinkle with sausage and cheese.
    Combine rest of ingredients; beat well.
    Pour over sausage.
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes or until set.
    (Can let stand overnight in the refrigerator, then add combined mixture and bake for 25 minutes.) Let set 5 minutes.
    Cut and serve.
    Serves 5 or 6.
