Baked Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large potatoes
2/3 cup butter
2/3 cup flour
6 cups milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 green onions chopped
12 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
1 Tbsp. chicken base
Preparation

Bake potatoes cool and cut into 1/2 inch cubes, leaving skin on.
Melt butter in heavy saucepan over low heat.
Add flour, stirring until smooth.
Cook for 1 minute stirring constantly. Gradually add milk.
Cover over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture is thick and bubbly.
Add potato cubes, salt, pepper, green onions, bacon, cheese and chicken base.
Cook until thoroughly heated.
Stir in sour cream.
Garnish with additional bacon and cheese.
Can add ham chunks if desired.
