Cinnamon Puffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg, divided in half
1/3 c. shortening
1 c. sugar, divided in half
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. margarine
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and 1/2 nutmeg.
In separate bowl, combine shortening, 1/2 sugar, egg and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients to this.
Then stir in milk until smooth.
Line muffin cups with paper liners.
Fill 2/3 full. Bake 20 minutes for large (12), less time for small (24).
Melt margarine.
Mix remaining 1/2 sugar, remaining 1/2 nutmeg and cinnamon.
While still warm, dip in melted margarine and roll in sugar mixture.
