Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. crushed saltines
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    2 (12 oz.) containers fresh oysters (undrained)
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 1/4 c. half and half
Preparation
    Brown crushed saltines in butter; set aside.
    Drain oysters, reserving 1/2 cup of liquid.
    Place half of crumbs in a lightly greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Add oysters, salt and pepper.
    Cover with remaining cracker crumbs.
    Combine half and half with reserved oyster liquid; pour over cracker crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
