Texas Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 or 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix
all
ingredients
and
pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 10 minutes in preheated 450\u00b0 oven; reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 30
minutes
longer, or until filling is puffed in center and is well browned. Let pie cool before cutting.
Decorate top of
pie with
large
pecan
halves
before baking.
Serve with whipped cream or a large scoop of vanilla ice cream.
