Alabama Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. warm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. melted shortening or margarine
self-rising flour
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 2 tablespoons warm water.
Place in a large bowl.
Add sugar and melted shortening; mix.
Add enough flour to make a soft dough.
Melt another 1/4 cup of shortening or margarine in a bread pan.
