Green Tomato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium green tomatoes
    1/2 lemon
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Slice tomatoes and heat slowly in a saucepan with lemon (sliced thin), sugar, salt, butter and spice.
    Cook until tomatoes are tender.
    Add cornstarch which has been rubbed to a smooth paste with a little cold water.
    Allow to cook 15 minutes over hot water.
