Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 green peppers
    12 onions
    12 green tomatoes
    3 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. white sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Grind peppers and
    onions together using medium or fine blade of chopper.
    Grind
    tomatoes
    separately.
    Pour
    enough boiling water over peppers
    and
    onions to cover.
    Let stand 5 minutes, then drain off water.
    Bring vinegar, sugar, salt and spices to a boil, then
    add tomatoes and peppers.
    Cook for 10 minutes.
    Pack in hot jars and seal.
    Makes about 12 pints.
