Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. diced unpeeled apples
    4 c. mini marshmallows
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 well beaten egg
    1 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. Spanish peanuts
Preparation
    Drain pineapple; save juice.
    Mix first 3 items in a large bowl and set aside.
    In a saucepan, mix pineapple juice, sugar, flour, vinegar and egg.
    Cook until thick.
    Let cool.
    Mix Cool Whip into mixture.
    Add to apple mixture; stir in peanuts. Garnish top with peanuts.
    Let stand in refrigerator overnight.
