Easy One-Dish Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 loaf frozen white bread dough, thawed
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms (undrained)
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce or canned tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. catsup
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Brown beef and onions in a Dutch oven.
    Add onions, mushrooms, tomato sauce or tomatoes, catsup, oregano, thyme, basil, parsley, salt and pepper.
    Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Cool to warm. Divide dough into 20 pieces and place on top of warm beef mixture. Cover; let rise 30 minutes or until pieces of bread dough have doubled in size.
    Lightly brush dough with beaten egg.
    Bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
