Jo An'S Meat Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground lean beef
1/3 c. breadcrumbs, flavored
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 c. celery, chopped (include leaves)
1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
1 raw egg
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 medium green pepper, chopped
1 dash of oregano or Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. pepper or to taste
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, saving 1/4 cup of tomato sauce.
Shape into loaf and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Add remaining tomato sauce approximately 1/2 hour before end.*
Best if, after shaped into loaf, mixture is wrapped in cellophane wrap and stored in refrigerator overnight.
This allows flavors to blend.
Also, recommend baking in roasting pan, not loaf pan.
