Barbecued Short Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. short ribs
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. chili sauce
    3 c. ketchup
    2 tsp. celery seed
    3 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. dry mustard
    4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    6 Tbsp. vinegar
    8 Tbsp. (1 stick) butter, melted
Preparation
    Brown ribs in oil.
    Simmer, covered in heavy pan on top of stove or in 300\u00b0 preheated oven 1 hour.
    Combine chili sauce, ketchup, celery seed, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire, vinegar and butter.
    Remove ribs from pan; drain all liquids from pan.
    Put ribs in pan; pour sauce over ribs.
    Simmer, covered, for 3 hours or bake at 250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0.
    Stir occasionally so ribs won't stick and burn.
