Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch broccoli, finely chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 large carrots, shredded
    1 qt. milk
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Put veggies in a large kettle and cover with one quart water. Simmer until tender.
    Mix milk with 1 quart cool water in blender; add to veggies.
    Make a roux of 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine and enough flour to make a smooth paste.
    Add to soup.
    Add grated cheese to taste.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Serve hot.
