Cream Cheese Pound Cake - cooking recipe

8 oz. pkg cream cheese
3 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour
6 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Let the cream cheese and butter come to room temperature. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and the cream cheese together. Add the sugar one cup at a time and make sure that it is well incorporated before you add each cup. Next, mix in the teaspoons of vanilla. Mix in one cup of cake flour and two eggs at a time. Again, make sure the cake flour and eggs are well incorporated before you add another cup and more eggs. Coat the bottom and sides of a pound cake pan very well with butter. Put the cake into a cold oven and then turn the oven to 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20-25 minutes. Remove cake from oven. Let it sit for 30 minutes and then transfer the cake to
a cake plate. Eat it plain or with fruit and whipped cream.
