Almondine Peas And Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. diagonally cut celery
    1/2 c. slivered blanched almonds
    1 small can whole onions
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen English peas, cooked
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook celery in boiling salted water until tender but crisp; drain.
    Lightly brown almonds in butter.
    Add onions, peas and celery.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
