Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    2 egg yolks, lightly beaten (save egg whites for top)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients with a little milk, then mix this with the remaining milk and boil and stir until thick.
    Mix small amount of thickened mixture with egg yolks and put this back in the thickened mixture.
    Add butter and vanilla and cook a little longer.
    Add 1/2 cup shredded coconut.
    Put in baked pie shell or graham cracker crust.
