How To Make Kraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    salt
    cold water
Preparation
    Shred cabbage.
    Pack in quart jars.
    Add 1 teaspoon salt per quart.
    Fill your jar with cold water and seal jar tight.
    Store in cool place.
    Kraut will be ready in 2 weeks to eat.
