Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs.
    Mix flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Combine both mixtures.
    Chill for one hour. Roll into balls, roll in mixture of 2 teaspoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8 to 12 minutes at 400\u00b0.
