Betty'S Homemade Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. warm water
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    about 6 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water.
    Pour 1 cup boiling water over shortening in large bowl; stir until shortening is melted. Add sugar and salt; mix well.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Stir in yeast, eggs and flour to form soft dough.
    Let rise, covered, in warm place until doubled in bulk.
    Punch dough down.
    Chill, covered, in refrigerator for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or longer.
    Knead briefly on floured surface.
    Shape into rolls.
    Place in greased baking dishes.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Yield:
    36 servings.
