Boiled Shrimp In Beer - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. water
2 c. stale beer
1/4 c. pickling spice
1 small onion, sliced
1/2 lemon, sliced
2 Tbsp. salt
1 lb. large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients in a Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Add shrimp and return to a boil.
Cover and cook 1 minute.
Remove from heat and allow shrimp to steam for 10 minutes.
Drain shrimp. Serve hot or cold with cocktail sauce.
Yield:
2 servings.
