Baked Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk, scalded
    3 eggs
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    nutmeg
    few grains salt
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Beat eggs; add sugar, salt and vanilla. Gradually add milk.
    Pour into greased baking dish or individual custard cups.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Place in pan of hot water. Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean.
    Chunks of bread and raisins can be added to this if desired.
