Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (3oz) vanilla pudding mix
    4 c. milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. quick cooking rice
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place all ingredients except vanilla in sauce pan.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes, stirring several times.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into bowl and chill in refrigerator.
