Ingredients

1 can sliced or chopped beets (reserve juice after draining)
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. beet juice
1/2 c. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix well together sugar, beet juice, flour and vinegar; put in saucepan.
Bring to boil; boil about 5 to 10 minutes, then add beets, salt and butter.
Bring back to boil about 3 to 5 minutes.
