Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

pickles
3 c. white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1 c. salt
Preparation
-
Cut pickles in slices in large canning can.
Pour in salt, cover with ice and let stand 3 hours.
Drain off water and add remaining ingredients.
Heat until pickles are good and hot.
Put into ready jars.
