Turtle Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 c. sugar
1 large can evaporated milk
3/4 stick oleo
1 1/2 lb. pecans
1 pt. Marshmallow Creme
2 pkg. chocolate bits
Preparation

In a deep pan, put sugar, milk and oleo. Place over moderate heat and let come to a boil. Let boil for 7 minutes; time carefully. Take off heat at once; set aside. In a large bowl, put the pecans, Marshmallow Creme and chocolate bits. Do not stir. Pour hot mixture over this and stir rapidly for 1 minute. Drop by teaspoon on waxed paper. Makes 5 pounds. Seal in foil. Keeps well.
