Poor Man'S Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground beef
1 c. cracker crumbs
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2/3 c. water
1 can mushroom soup
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients well and shape into a loaf.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Cut into 1/2 to 3/4-inch slices and dip in flour.
Brown slightly on both sides in a small amount of hot oil.
Place the slices in a casserole dish.
Dilute a can of mushroom soup with 1/2 can of water.
Pour into skillet after all meat is removed.
(This will give the soup the flavor of the meat.)
Pour the mixture over the meat slices.
Cover and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
