Canned Okra - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. cut up okra
1/4 c. (4 Tbsp.) salt
1/2 c. (8 Tbsp.) vinegar
Preparation

Cover okra with water; add salt and vinegar.
Bring to a boil; cook until okra changes color.
Pack in jars and cover with liquid mixture.
When opening, drain off liquid and rinse well.
Batter and fry.
