Stack Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. margarine
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix as for biscuits, making a stiff dough.
Divide into 5 parts.
Roll into balls and keep in refrigerator.
Take out 1 ball at a time and roll into a layer to fit pan.
Bake in greased hoe cake baker if you have one. Prick with fork and bake 10 to 12 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Watch, as they burn easily.
Remove from baker to cake plate.
Spread with sweetened dried apples or fresh applesauce or cooked and sweetened dried peaches.
