Crock-Pot Good 'N Easy Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. lean stewing beef, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
    1 (1 1/2 oz.) envelope dry onion soup mix
    1/2 c. sauterne wine or beef broth
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup or cream of celery soup
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained (optional)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a crock-pot.
    Cover and cook on low setting for 10 to 12 hours.
    If desired, thicken gravy.
    Makes 8 servings (about 3 quarts).
