Granny Jones' Sunshine Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. vinegar
    2 c. salt
    2 c. sugar
    cucumbers
    dill
    garlic buds
    red pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Mix the vinegar, salt and sugar well.
    Pack cucumbers in jars. Add large hunk of dill, garlic bud and red pepper (optional). Pour vinegar mixture over cucumbers.
    Seal and set in sun for 7 days.
    Wait 2 weeks before opening after you bring in out of sun. (Put in a place that they can get sun all day.)
