Good Southern Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Jiffy mix
    1 c. self-rising corn meal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. milk (powdered milk may be used)
    1 egg
    1/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except oil. Stir until smooth. Add 1/2 of this oil to the mixture. Place remaining oil in pan which bread is to be cooked. Pour the mixture on top of remaining oil in pan. Cook in oven at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
