Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. cake flour
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. mashed banana
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cream together sugar and shortening.
    Add buttermilk and beaten eggs.
    Add mashed banana.
    Then add all dry ingredients (nuts optional).
    Pour into pan.
    Bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool and frost.
